Win a chirp with OpenCaching!

Opie_ICN_304Whether you are an experienced or newbie cacher, there's no better time of year to get outside and go geocaching. Since spring is the perfect time of year to get outside and hide some new geocaches, why not make your cache more memorable by winning 1 of 20 chirp wireless geocaching beacons.

The more caches you hide between now and the end of May, the better your chances of winning. Just send the OX code to [email protected], and you're entered to win. One submitted OX code equals one entry, so the more new caches you submit, the more entries you will have! Also, any new caches that you placed in April are still fair game, so send those codes in too!

What's a chirp? It's a one-of-a-kind wireless beacon designed specifically for geocaching. Durable and waterproof, chirp can communicate with, and be programmed by compatible Garmin handhelds. chirp stores hints, multicache coordinates, counts visitors and confirms the cache is nearby. chirp is also password protected and has a battery life of up to one year.

It's time to take advantage of the spring weather and start planting new caches today, but don't forget to submit your OX codes so you can be entered to win a chirp!
