Garmin Connect Adds Cycling PR's and Lets You Personalize Your Profile

27 August 2012 @ 8:24 PM  / Garmin Connect / Sports / Fitness Blog /

Connect-profileToday's Garmin Connect update gives you more power to personalize your profile and adds cycling personal records. You'll now be able to add a photo of yourself in action, schedule upcoming events and see your lifetime totals. You'll even be able to see your personal records, both running and cycling, front and center.

The cycling PR's will show your farthest ride, most elevation gain and your fastest 40 km time. This data will come from all your previous rides and update as you load each new ride.

If you allow your profile to be viewed by all, you'll be able to share it with the world and let them see your achievements and favorite routes. To access this cool new feature simply log into Garmin Connect and click on your display name in the top right hand corner. To update your privacy settings click on the settings link at the top of the page.

Over the next few months we'll be adding even more to Garmin Connect to enhance the community feel and your experience.
