Paris-Roubaix We are thrilled to announce some exciting new additions to Garmin Connect that we fully expect will become a part of your workout regime. While many of you were sleeping, we rolled out the latest update that gives you more control within connect. Now it is easier than ever to plan your route before heading out and pressing the start button on your Garmin GJenny Fletcher Josh Cox 610PS device. With the new Course Creator, you will be able to quickly and easily draw your course of choice  laid over detailed maps and know exactly how far you will be going. After creating your course, simply send it to your compatible device and you are ready to embark on another journey or epic workout. If this does not interest you, you can always use the 'Explore' tab, where you can scroll and search over the 1 billion miles worth of activities for one in your area that might just fit the bill. To point you in the right direction, after clicking on the 'Explore' tab Garmin Connect will now display the activities nearest to your current location.

ANT+ Tour4 Another great way to ensure you get the most out of each workout is to plan your workouts ahead of time. Enter the new Workout Creator. This tool allows you to create interval, customized and even simple workouts from your computer so that you aren't fussing with this process while lacing up your shoes and heading out the door or while clipping into your pedals. Again, after easily creating your workout you'll need to send it to your compatible device and you'll be on your way to recording another memorable activity.

"Reach for the moon...Land among the stars." We all set goals in our lives, whether it is at work or at home. So why not set goals towards your athletic endeavors? Garmin Connect makes it easy to set goals and it even keeps track of them for you. Forget to create a goal and you are in mid training? We've got you covered. You now have the ability to create a goal with a past start date, as long as your goal end date remains in the future. So you want to look at the big picture? Well, let's use the new annual goal option where you can easily set a goal to track throughout the entire year.Forerunner610 menu

For those of you lucky enough to own our newest touchscreen GPS enabled watch, Forerunner 610, you will be happy to note that we have added the ability to view your Training Effect data within your connect activity. Training Effect measures the impact of exercise on aerobic fitness and lets you know how the workout improves your fitness during the workout. This is done through obtaining your heart rate data and other metrics recorded by the state of the art Forerunner 610.

Thank you all for being a part of the "Garmin-Nation"!
