This 7-minute workout is a combination of circuit training and high-intensity interval training (HIIT). Circuit training is the use of sequential resistance exercises with little rest. These circuit-training moves improve overall muscle fitness and endurance. High-intensity interval training or HIIT is characterized by intense bursts of activity alternated between less intense activity or rest. HIIT routines are a great way to improve your overall aerobic fitness.
There are a total of 13 workouts; each lasting 30 seconds with 10 seconds in-between the exercise. The workouts included are jumping jacks, wall sit, push ups, ab crunches, chair steps, squats, chair triceps, plank, high knees running, lunges, push up rotations, side plank left and side plank right. By looking at the app on your wrist, it will show how much time is left during an exercise as well as how much time you have to recover between exercises.
