As we embark on day 2 of NBAA, we have more news to share about some of our Garmin Authorized Dealers who are doing great things to help revitalize some of the most popular business and commercial aircraft in the industry.
Elliott Aviation is celebrating the completion of its 75th installation of the G1000 in a Beechcraft King Air. Garmin is proud to have valued partners like Elliott supporting G1000 installations, which breathe new life into the aircraft, dramatically reduce aircraft weight and enhance pilot situational awareness. To help showcase the way this installation transforms the aircraft, Garmin’s Super King Air 350 featuring the G1000 is on static display (booth 615) at Orlando Executive Airport.
Another Garmin dealer, AMI Aviation Services, is taking the flight deck upgrade program one step further, announcing at the show that it seeking an STC for the installation of the Garmin G950 flight deck in the Beechcraft 1900D. SEARCA, the premier charter line in Columbia, is the initial customer for the program with 16 aircraft.
Eagle Creek Aviation has also announced an STC program for installation of the Garmin G950 flight deck in the Twin Commander.
And finally, Kings Avionics has received an STC for the installation of dual GTN 750s in the Learjet 30-series aircraft.
We’re building a growing portfolio of business aircraft that can be upgraded with Garmin glass and we’re committed to adding even more turbine airframes to our list. If you're interested in upgrade options for your aircraft, let us know by commenting on this post.
