All of you - our customers - are our top priority, and you've once again ranked our aviation team at the top of your list! This week, the annual Aviation Product Support Survey was published by Aviation International News, and Garmin earned #1 overall in avionics support. This is the ninth consecutive year Garmin Aviation Support has taken the #1 spot and I can assure you, we’re both proud and humbled by the honor! Many of you have had the opportunity to visit us here in Olathe, Kansas. If you haven’t had the chance to visit us at work, I’m sure you’ve seen us at one of the many trade shows and it’s no secret that we are passionate about representing and supporting the Garmin name and aviation community as a whole.
Being a member of the Garmin Aviation Support team means a lot more than answering daily e-mails, phone calls, and customer inquiries. It means being a part of a team that is incredibly educated, experienced, and fun! Some days, coming to work often resembles a backyard barbecue during the lunch hour and others you may find many of us attending a minor-league baseball game together or meeting for our annual “Turkey Bowl” football game, just prior to Thanksgiving. Receiving top honors in the support we provide our customers on a day to day basis is both professionally and personally gratifying and makes the hard work we put in to helping our customer worth it.
As we look forward to another year, I want to say “thank you” to all of the Garmin customers, dealers, and supporters out there. Thank you for holding Garmin in such high regards as it pertains to avionics and for continuing to rank us #1 in aviation product support, year-after-year.
