We recently released updates for the Garmin StreetPilot Onboard and the NAVIGON apps that allow you to get public transit directions for any address or point of interest you select in Apple Maps. The new Urban Guidance feature (in app purchase) considers train, tram, bus and water taxi routes. It guides you to a transit stop by foot and lets you look up detailed information on what line to take and where to get off.

We've received a few questions on how to send an address from Apple Maps to the Garmin apps, so we thought it would be a good idea to provide step-by-step instructions. When you send an address, you'll be able to select if you want walking, public transit or driving directions. Here's how it works:

1. Find an address or point of interest in Apple Maps and click on the blue arrow button

2. Select "Directions to Here"
