CJ0H1539Tom Danielson and his Garmin teammates started the day off attacking at the USA Pro Challenge in Colorado . Danielson, who calls Colorado home, looked relaxed and in top form as he and his teammates pleased the spectator packed roads of the Rockies. Director Sportif, Charly Wegelius laid out a plan for the men in argyle to be aggressive--and that they did! The team set a blistering early pace as they tried to catch the field napping on day one of this big U.S. stage rColo1_812-016ace. The peloton came back together only to see a strong lead out making way for 726J0107sprinter Tyler Farrar.

This victory placed Farrar in the Yellow jersey marking the overall leader. His efforts also earned him the Green jersey worn by the sprint points leader. His teammates were also rewarded for their hard work as Danielson grabbed the Polka Dot jersey of the King of the Mountain and youngster Peter Stetina battled into the Orange jersey of the most aggressive rider of the day. That's right you counted'em, FOUR jerseys!!
