We're back from the 2012 Bermuda Billfish Blast tournament and we're happy to report that we were able to give away yet another $1,000 through the Garmin Grand Giveaway! That's right - "Mattanza" finished at the top of the Bermuda Billfish Blasts' Overall Standings this weekend with a whopping 1,500 points - AND with a GPSMAP 3205 on board - earning them a Garmin Grand! The local Bermuda boat, a 51' Carolina Sport Fisherman, had managed to catch just 400 pounds of white marlin going into the tournament's final day of competition. On the final day, they had managed to catch another 1,100 pounds of marlin, earning them top standings. Congrats to the Mattanza's team who has taken home the third Garmin Grand of the season - this makes three for three winners in participating Garmin Grand Giveaway tournaments!

Another congratulations goes out to Bermuda's "Queen of Hearts" for winning the World Cup with a 768-pound Blue Marlin (pictured above)! "Queen of Hearts" boasts the highest winning record for the Bermuda tournament series - and this is the seventh time for Bermuda to win the World Cup honors.
