Walking through Heli-Expo, you're sure to see several helicopters equipped with Garmin's G500H flight display. Models ranging from the EC 130 and AS 350 to the Bell 206 and 407 are all eligible for this glass cockpit upgrade. And now, one more helicopter model joins that list: The Robinson R44. Garmin announced this week that the G500H is certified for installation in the R44. This is exciting news for R44 operators who now have the opportunity to upgrade their panel to glass and benefit from all of the enhanced situational awareness tools that this system offers including Helicopter Synthetic Vision Technology (HSVT). datalink weather and a video input display.
