If you're looking for a way to ring in summer, we have the perfect opportunity to combine spectator sports and family fun, serene scenery and exciting activity. As official GPS partner of the 2011 Teva Mountain Games, Garmin is inviting fans and families to search for hidden treasure June 3-5 with Vail, Colorado, as a beautiful backdrop. Anyone in attendance at the Games is welcome to join Garmin and OpenCaching.com for three days of geocaching, a free event that is fun for the whole family and combines exploration, education, entertainment and recreation.
Throughout the day – whenever there’s a break in your schedule – you can stop by the Garmin booth in Gear Town to learn how to geocache, see Garmin’s newest outdoor handheld and fitness GPS devices and even borrow Garmin units to find geocaches around the Teva Mountain Games. If you have your own Garmin handheld, just stop by the Garmin booth to get the coordinates for the various caches, specifically created for cachers of various ages and experience levels. You’ll even have the chance to enter to win exciting prizes – including Garmin devices, Princeton Tec Headlamps, First Ascent Jackets, Teva Gnarkosis Water Shoes, Nutcase Helmets and more!
