Is there a geocoin near you?

Geocoin2JerseycacheGeocoindrop We've been saying since we introduced the limited-edition Colorado/Wherigo geocoin that there would be a variety of ways to get one. First, we handed out nearly half of the entire supply during our winter tour. Then we announced the Wherigo Builder contest, where you can build a Wherigo cartridge at Wherigo.com, send us an e-mail and then hope you're that week's lucky winner. (Click here for complete rules.)

Geocoindropdetail_2Now we're spreading the love. We've already hidden a handful of coins across the country - from Washington to Nebraska and from Pennsylvania to New Jersey - that are just waiting to be discovered in existing caches. Next stop: Austin, Texas, during South by Southwest. If you find one while you're caching, send us an e-mail and tell us how and where you found it. Pass along your picture, and we'll do our best to post everyone's stories and smiling faces. And don't worry, we have even more tricks up our sleeves....
