National Geographic Adventure Magazine honors nüvi 770

  Thursday night, out in Washington, DC, a familiar face was in the spotlight as one of National Geographic's guests of honor. Dressed to the nines in black and silver trim - and showing off the worldly charms that come with North American and European mapping - nüvi 770 proudly was awarded 2008 Best of Adventure Gear by the editors of National Geographic Adventure Magazine.

And we couldn't be happier. You see, nüvi 760 (a fraternal triplet, along with 750) has received much well-deserved praise. PC Magazine and GPS Magazine each selected 760 as an Editor's Choice (the latter even called it "the best nüvi yet"). So, yeah, there's some sibling rivalry going on. But nüvi 770 is enjoying its time in the limelight, and it will be hitting the road as part of the Adventure Travel Expos that run through March 2008. And knowing nüvi and its route planning, it will be guiding the way!
