"The new Edge 705 will let you dork out with data like you’ve never dorked out before." That's how Chris Lesser from BIKE magazine sums up Garmin's newest cycling device in a review posted this week. "While maintaining the same bevy of functions as before—speed, time, distance, grade, GPS position, elevation, and optional heart rate and cadence—the new 705 picks up a few extra tricks in addition to its map features and color screen." Among those tricks that Chris mentions: wireless unit-to-unit data transfer and compatibility with ANT+Sport-enabled power meters from SRM and other third-party vendors. As if that's not enough, there will also be a ton of free training features coming to Garmin Connect.
