New nüvis answer life's big questions

Nuvi760lf Announced today, the nüvi 700 series is there to help when drivers need it most, answering two of the most common questions: “Where am I?” and “Where’s my car?” At any time, with a single tap of the screen, drivers can display their exact latitude and longitude coordinates, the nearest address and intersection, and the closest hospitals, police stations and gas stations. And to help drivers find their car in an unfamiliar spot or crowded parking lot, the nüvis in the 700 series automatically mark the position in which they were last removed from the windshield mount.

Now, if it could only help with fantasy football.

Nuvi760rf In addition, each nüvi in the 700 series has a built-in FM transmitter, allowing users to wirelessly transmit turn-by-turn directions and street names, MP3s and audio books through their vehicle’s stereo, and the 760 and 770 offer Bluetooth wireless technology for hands-free calling when paired with compatible phones. The 760 and 770 also feature Garmin’s FM traffic receiver, helping drivers avoid gridlock and adjust routes accordingly. Each model in the 700 series displays speed limits for many interstates and highways.

Go to our online pressroom to learn more about the newest nüvi family, and look for them to hit shelves in September (we knew you couldn't wait long).

The previous Nuvi models had either one or no "waypoints" when planning an extended trip. Sometimes I drive more than 500 miles in a day, and I frequently mix Interstates with State and US highways as short-cuts. When using a 750/760, do I understand correctly that in a one-day trip from VA to FL, I can add several (5-9) waypoints to build the specific route I want?
