Try Before You Buy

Want to try a GPS before you buy it? Yesterday's Chicago Tribune spelled out how you can. Head on over to your favorite car rental counter and rent a GPS with your car. In fact, 7 of the 8 leading rental car companies use Garmin. It will only take one test drive and you'll understand why so many people are singing the praises of Garmin's GPS.

I have always used and trusted Garmin whilst sailing from the early days. I now need one which will guide me by road from UK, through France and Spain and then at sea through the Med. Does such a unit exist?
