Developers Delve Into Garmin's API Library

Pic Keeping up with today's high-tech arena, and always looking for a way to make it easier for you-- the consumer -- Tuesday marked the announcement of the new Garmin Developer website.  So exactly what the heck does that mean, you might be wondering... Well, this site is for software developers and content provides who want to make their website, applications and data content compatible with Garmin devices.  Essentially this site will make it easier for third-party sites to communicate with Garmin devices, which has been difficult in the past.  The site includes six core products, and has free and licensed Garmin resources that developers may use.  The first two sites to implement technology from Garmin Developer are Geocaching.com and MotionBased.com.  By clicking on a Garmin icon on these websites, users will be able to transfer information to and from the GPS and website.  Making it even more easier now, to get where you want to go!
