Heart rate questions answered

FeaturepegspostsI wanted to address a recent blog comment posted by Robert regarding the heart rate date shown by our Edge bike computer. Q: Is it possible, using an Edge 305 with HR to see the workout time spent in a particular HR zone? A: The data stored in the Edge after your ride will show just your average and max HR, but once you upload to our online analyzer, MotionBased.com, you get a ton of data, including the amount of time spent in each zone. Take a look at how MotionBased breaks down heart rate data from this link to a MotionBased activity. Click on the dashboard button, then select the link for heart rate.

The time in HR zones can also be viewed on a per activity basis in Garmin Training Center.

This information is also available in Training Center.
